ORBITA FILM
is a member of the POLI FILM group of companies, and was founded on September 1, 1991 in the Chemical Triangle, the area encompassing Halle, Bitterfeld, and Leipzig, which has long since been associated with the chemicals industry.

Since the 1960s, this area has been the regional centre for polymer chemistry and plastics processing. The reconstruction of part of the former ORBITA Plast works into a highly modern and innovative company created an ideal basis for activities concentrating on polythene film production.

As a subsidiary of the globally active POLI-FILM company, we are a leading German manufacturer of polythene films – and the market leader in the field of construction films.

POLI-FILM has crossed oceans and now supplies partners all over the world. The company operates its own production works in Germany, France and the USA, proof both of its international orientation and its global presence on the markets of the future.
